The SRO holds records of money that remains unclaimed after 12 months, including share dividends, salaries and wages, rents and bonds, and proceeds of sales. We also hold unclaimed winnings from Tattslotto, Intralot and TAB tickets bought in Victoria that have remained unclaimed for six months or more.
Each year, millions of dollars are reclaimed by the rightful owners from the Victorian Unclaimed Money Register.
In 2021–22, we reunited $10.4 million with rightful owners via 19,050 claims against the Unclaimed Money Register.
